Interpreting Load Charts

All aerial devices, per NFPA code, include a Load Limit Indicator, commonly referred to as a “Load Chart.”  This chart is required to be on all aerial devices in clear view of the operator, and must show the recommended safe load at any condition of an aerial device’s elevation and extension.

This training guide is written to help in interpreting a load chart.
