Gila Bend (AZ) Paramedic Recovering After Being Crushed by Fire Truck
An Arizona paramedic is recovering in the intensive care unit (ICU) after a fire truck crushed him while on the job, azfamily.com reported.Cody Jordan, 34, a Gila Bend Fire Department paramedic for a year, was doing routine maintenance on one of the trucks when the cab fell on him Friday, Feb. 23, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office reported.Rescuers airlifted Jordan to Abrazo West Campus, where he has been in the ICU since, according to the report. As of Sunday evening, Jordan was in critical but stable condition, according to the azfamily.com report.
